Full Moon in Capricorn August 9, 2025

The next full moon will happen on August 9, 2025, at 7:54 AM (UTC) at 22 degrees 46 minutes Capricorn. Nakshatra is Sravana, and Navamsha is Cancer, and the Moon is in its own sign.

Being deprived of the love of one’s mother, or father, or both during childhood hampers the development of fundamental self-confidence, which can affect many areas of life. Many people resent their parents or resort to other means to validate their lack of self-confidence. We may wallow in self-pity or deny/dismiss what we experienced in our childhood, but this only deepens the wounds as we grow older.

According to the Karma theory, our soul chooses the parents we have to experience. Sometimes, loving parents are selected, and at times, unloving ones are chosen. We can spend our whole lives resenting our parents, or we can take a step back, objectively reassess the situation, analyse our situation, and make an effort to avoid perpetuating the cycle.

Those who have been bullied by their seniors have the choice of whether or not to bully their juniors. It’s much easier to vent our frustrations by bullying those who are weaker than us. Understanding the pain of being bullied and being kind to our juniors is difficult and takes a lot of courage. This is a great full moon to listen to our inner voice and decide which course of action we should take to maintain a smile on our face. The choice to be happy is always ours. Om Shanti.
