The next New Moon is a Solar Eclipse that happens on October 2, 2024 at 6.48 pm (UTC) at 15 degrees 51 Virgo. Nakshatra is Hasta and Navamsha is Taurus.
We judge things based on the values we have acquired.
For example, in Japan, the combination of red and white is considered auspicious. Still, in countries where this is not necessarily considered lucky, it is seen as a simple colour combination. In certain countries, things like a four-leaf clover, a horseshoe, or a rabbit foot can be considered a good luck charm. In other words, it is our mind that judge things as auspicious or inauspicious.
Our mind is filled with such information. It includes all the experiences we have had since we were born, and also information from past lives, such as likes and dislikes, and what is good and what is wrong. And in most cases, we move forward, continuing to make the same value judgements. The solar eclipse we are about to experience may indicate that when our previous value judgements become outdated, we need to upgrade this information.
It is not something that can be done quickly, but there is no need to rush, and we can take the time we need. If we carefully become aware of what kind of value judgements we make, we will become aware of the values that have become obsolete or no longer valid for us, and when we notice them, we can change them to suit our current self. This solar eclipse is the first step towards this. Om Shanti.
