When we experience trials and hardship, our souls grow. However, we tend to blame those trials on things or people other than ourselves, saying it is “some other people’s fault,” “the recession,” or “politicians.” What do we need to nurture ourselves? What is necessary for us to grow? Before blaming our mother or father for not raising us properly, can we try to understand what we would have wanted them to do and give it to ourselves? What is lacking right now to bring a smile on our face?

 

Do we blame our flowers for withering even though we didn’t water them? There is a difference between taking care, and indulging ourselves. This is a very good new moon to cultivate the ability of discernment in that area. Om Shanti.
