The next Full Moon happens on May 7, 2020, at 10.44 am UTC in Libra, Vishakha Nakshatra.

My happiness is not somebody else’s happiness.
This sounds like an obvious statement. But is it?

Our superficial “happiness” depends on COVID-19 and our health, how our work is going, the relationship with our parents, children, siblings, partners and others, how much money we have, on people who do not respect the rules, etc.  And we spend our time and energy to make other people happy, but if we are not happy ourselves we end up being tired or resentful.

The responsibility to find our own happiness that does not depend on anything else lies only on ourselves.
Because our soul is in a state of perfect bliss.
Our mind adds restriction, desires, anger, jealousy or attachments to our soul.
Now is an excellent opportunity to realise this and let it go.

Of course, when we start thinking about our happiness that does not depend on other people or circumstances, sometimes we may feel lonely or we may have to be disciplined. So sometimes it is easier to go off the path. Which is fine! In a world that is very tense like how it is right now, we need to breathe and relax so we do not have to force ourselves to go within. But now that we have to be on our own, and some people (not everyone, a salute to the medical people!) have time to reflect on oneself, if we have the courage to look within to see what binds us from being happy, we can inch one step closer to our bliss. Om Shanti.
