The next New Moon is an annular Solar Eclipse happening in Taurus on June 10, 2021, at 10.51 am UTC in Mrigasira Nakshatra.
The amount of pressure we are currently receiving from everywhere – the media, our family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances – about what we “should” do or how we “should” be is enormous.
One should “earn money”, “shine the light”, “our soul must grow up”, “we shouldn’t eat this”, “we are not sleeping enough”, “we need to stay healthy”, “we have to be a perfect wife, husband, mother, father, daughter, son, sibling” and the list goes on and on.
If we know who we really are and what we want, we will not get confused. But at some point, we all yield to one pressure or the other and think “oh yes I should be more like this”, “so and so is doing it so should I”. Then we compare ourselves with another person and get depressed.
Of course, we can all have an objective. But is that objective something fitting to who we really are? Or is it a target to become somebody else, or because someone told us so? If we are in denial about who we really are, we can set an unachievable target then we get more into trouble.
The eclipse time is a time of transformation but before setting a target, first, we must be aware of where we are right now. If we focus too much on what is missing, we will be unable to see where we are now. If we can set a realistic target and progress slowly, the planets will support you in your transformation. Om Shanti.
