The next Full Moon happens at 29°48 Aries on 15 November 2024 at 9:28 pm (UTC). Nakshatra is Krittika, and Navamsha is Sagittarius.
During our lives, we accumulate all sorts of unnecessary things. We accumulate “stuff” we keep “just in case”. We can cling to unnecessary, outdated thoughts. The same is true for our bodies. It may feel daunting when we think we have to get rid of everything all at once. The degree of difficulty of spring cleaning also depends on how much we clean regularly. One idea is to throw away one thing a day that we thought we might use but didn’t, before the new moon in two weeks. This creates some space for new energy to come in.
The image of this full moon is also of the open burning of the fields. Burning down farmland after growing crops restores the strength of the soil. The burnt vegetation and ashes become fertiliser. It is a very good full moon to think about what we can let go of in our lives. Om Shanti.
