The next full moon is a penumbral lunar eclipse in Scorpio, which will happen from 7.12 pm UTC. The Nakshatra is Jyeshta.
From now until May 2022, the theme of the lunar and solar eclipses is going to change. This is the next step to what happened approximately 18 years ago, from February 2002 to September 2003. The same things need not happen, but it will be the next step to it. Is there anything you remember from that period?
During this time, we might see two extremes between materialism and spiritualism. The most important is keeping things balanced. Of course, we need some material things in life. Which ones do we really need in life? Maybe some of us thought about this during the lockdown period. Some people may tend to buy things under stress, but if we try to suppress that forcedly, it may affect other areas of our life. So it’s okay to be a bit impulsive in buying things but it is good to be aware of the tendency. We do not need to radically go to the bare minimum either. Let us think about what is comfortable, within our own means.
It is also good to be aware of what we take in such as food or information, and what we say or do. For the past couple of months, we have been thinking about our immune system, and what we take in, what we eat affects our immunity. What we think, what we say or what we do also affects it. When we say positive things immunity increases, when we become negative it decreases.
Extreme spirituality is also something we need to watch out for. For example, if we awaken our Kundalini without proper guidance or knowledge, it may take us where we didn’t want to go. What is good for other people may not be good for us. Therefore, if someone says “this must be good for you”, we need to exercise discernment to know if it truly is or not. Another example is that there are so many kinds of Yoga out there. What kind of Yoga really suits us? As we look out for what we really need, this will be a period full of opportunities. Alluring but negative offers may also come to us at the same time, so it is very important to know what is necessary for us and what is not.
We can review our life so that in two years, we can reach a good balance. If we proceed little by little, a small seed will grow into a beautiful tree. Let us take our time, be patient and be aware. Change doesn’t come overnight.
There will be a solar eclipse on June 21, another lunar eclipse on July 5. Those who are sensitive to energy or whose natal planets are close to the eclipse degrees will be affected directly but most people may not feel anything. Still, the period from now until after the July eclipse is an unstable time. Our family members, friends or colleagues may be affected. Feeling worried or fearful will have an adverse effect but we have to remember to remain compassionate towards the others during this coming month. Om Shanti.
