Happy new year!
I hope 2023 will be a year of good health and happiness.
The first Full Moon of 2023 will happen on January 6, at 11.08 pm UTC, at 22 degrees Gemini, Punarvasu Nakshatra, Aries Navamsha.
There is no such thing as a perfect life, and we all live life through trial and error.
What becomes the guiding principle? That is Dharma or good conduct. Then, what is good and what is wrong/evil?
The guideline behind right and wrong should be universal, not subjective.
But our “clever” mind whispers, “it looks like fun” or “no one will notice because no one is watching”.
One of the themes of 2023 is how to discern good and evil.
If our discernment is misguided, while having the best intentions, it is still possible to do wrong.
In order to do so, we can purify our mind to train it to the right way of seeing things.
In the northern hemisphere, the first signs of spring will soon arrive.
With Mars and Mercury still retrograde, we are still trying to figure out what to do.
As the light gradually increases, let us consider what to look for and what to use as a guideline.
Are our words compassionate? Or are we pretending to be compassionate while thinking the opposite?
This Full Moon gives us clues about the words we are bringing out and the thoughts and the energy we emanate. Let us choose wisely. Om Shanti.
