New Moon in Gemini July 13/14, 2026

The next New Moon happens on July 14, 2026, at 09:43 am (UTC), at 27°45′ Gemini. The Nakshatra is Punarvasu, and the Navamsha is in Gemini, making it Vargottama.

Living in an information-saturated society, we take in all kinds of information. It would be ideal if we could absorb it objectively, but because it passes through our own mental filters, we end up making judgments: right or wrong, like or dislike, gain or loss, or forming expectations or speculations.

Amid all this, we can become dissatisfied. But this dissatisfaction is created by the filters we carry. One definition of dissatisfaction is: “a state of mind, in which one’s expectations or desires are not fulfilled by the actual circumstances, leaving the mind unsettled — a sense of inadequacy or discomfort arising when a situation does not go as one expects or wishes.” What exactly are we dissatisfied with, and what exactly triggers us? Why can’t we accept the present situation as it is? And yet, the very fact that we feel dissatisfied means it becomes possible to understand our own filters. In that sense, it is an opportunity. Most people spend their lives swayed by surface-level dissatisfaction.

But if we look deeply into it, focus on gratitude, and review the filters we hold onto, we stop being tossed about by information and circumstances and, step by step, draw closer to peace of mind. Om Shanti.
