The next Full Moon will be on February 19, 2019 at 3.54pm GMT
As you may have read in the media, it is a “Super Moon” which is closer to the earth, therefore its influence may be felt more than usual.
Each time before a flight takes off, it is announced that you should “place your oxygen mask on yourself first before helping small children or others who may need assistance”.
When you try to help a drowning person thoughtlessly, the person has such strength to pull you down that s/he may take you along.
We should take care of ourselves first before helping others.
We should have enough energy in ourselves before spending it.
But in certain situations, we can be busy helping other people while neglecting our own needs.
What does “taking care of ourselves” mean to you?
This very much depends on the person. If you have well taken care of yourself, you might have time to spend to help other people, but if you haven’t, you might want to focus on replenishing your own energy first.
Most people experience both situations alternately.
Where are you now regarding this? Are you taking enough care of yourself?
What do you need to let go in order to make this happen?
During this full moon, and the following fortnight until the next new moon, is a good time to think along those lines.
If you are safe and well taken care of, until mid-March is a good time to realistically think about society and to make a “one-step at a time” contribution. Om Shanti.
