FULL MOON IN LIBRA MAY 3/4, 2015

The next full moon will happen at 3h42 GMT on May 4, 2015.

From May 4 until June 10, we will see an opposition of Mars in Taurus and Saturn in Scorpio. This aspect will be most felt around May 15. Mars is a planet of action and energy; Saturn rules control and patience. When those two contrasting planets influence each other, it can bring some frustration. This aspect happens once every two years so it is something we have experienced many times in the past – last time was on May 1, 2013. The communication or relationship with one’s partner may lack smoothness. Or if a project is forcefully pushed forward without preparation, some obstacles may hamper the path. It’s a case of bringing an umbrella if you know it is going to rain! Be aware that after the peak period things will gradually improve, so do not force anything at the moment and spend the time gently.

The keyword for this full moon is the wind. The Nakshatra or lunar mansion where the full moon will happen is ruled by Vayu, the God of Wind. The wind likes to blow freely. There are many types of wind, from a gentle breeze to a violent, stormy wind. If one gets frustrated by the Mars/Saturn aspect, the wind inside one’s heart may get out of control and cause anger, becoming the wind of destruction.

Many original and new ideas are available during the two weeks until the following new moon. We should guide the wind not to destroy, but to dissipate the stagnating negativity inside us. Let us think outside-the-box and how to make the most of this creative full moon. Om Shanti.
