The next Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse happening on May 16, 2022, at 4.15 am UTC in the first degree of Scorpio, Anuradha Nakshatra.
As the Northern Hemisphere heads towards summer, unfortunately, we will see more accidents happening in rivers and the sea as we tend to underestimate the power of water. People can drown in 30cm/1ft of water, and even if we think the water looks shallow enough, the current can be very strong and we can be pulled by the undertow or swept off our feet.
This Lunar Eclipse is a bit similar. Maybe nothing will happen. But even if everything looks fine, we may be caught off guard. Or people around us may be destabilised. Please be mindful of centring yourself and being grounded. Until a few days after the eclipse, if our intuition sends us a “no” signal, it is okay to back off or to wait.
This is when your daily practice becomes really useful. It is like building an internal muscle. A muscle does not become strong in one day. But it’s never too late to start. We can think about what to do to make our mind calm and stable. Jyotish can tell us our mind’s propensity, when it is likely to be calmer (so we can prepare for the storm) and when the storm may come. Om Shanti.
